AGRI-BIOCIRCULAR-HUB Releases Introductory Video
AGRI-BIOCIRCULAR-HUB is a four-year, EUR 6 million project funded under Horizon Europe (Grant Agreement No. 101186869). It brings together 21 organisations from Ukraine, Poland, Latvia, Spain, and Belgium in a common effort to advance smart agriculture and the circular bioeconomy in widening countries. The project builds three regional innovation ecosystems and connects academic institutions, businesses, public authorities, and civil society organisations to drive sustainable transformation in the agrifood sector.
The video walks through the five key objectives of the project: developing a long-term research and innovation action plan for sustainable and biocircular agriculture; creating and scaling innovation business cases in the three widening countries; building capacity through training, knowledge exchange, and mentoring; supporting entrepreneurship and open innovation for farmers and SMEs; and providing financial support to third parties through a dedicated cascade funding scheme for the development of smart and circular agricultural technologies.
The video provides an accessible overview of the initiative for a broad audience of researchers, farmers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers, presenting the project’s vision, objectives, and strategic directions.
The video is available on the project’s YouTube channel and on this page. Further information about the project, its work packages, and partner organisations is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6_Ns-jZR4Y&t=11s
