Open Call Results Will Be Announced on 23 October 2026
The evaluation of applications submitted to the AGRI-BIOCIRCULAR-HUB Open Call is complete. So that the final verification checks can be finished carefully, the consortium has agreed to move the announcement of results from 15 October to 23 October 2026. All applicants will be informed of the outcome individually on that date.
Evaluation complete, final checks under way
The Open Call closed on 31 July 2026 at 17:00 CEST. Since then, every submitted proposal has gone through the steps set out in the Guidelines for Applicants. The consortium is now at the last stage before the results are announced.
- Eligibility check1–15 August. Applicants who did not pass this stage were notified in August.
- Expert evaluation16 August – 30 September. Each eligible proposal reviewed by three independent experts.
- Final verification checksOctober. The consortium confirms the ranking before results are released.
- Results announcement23 October 2026. Every applicant informed individually.
The proposals were assessed against four criteria: excellence, impact and ambition, implementation, and budget and value for money. The extra week is used only for the final checks. It does not change the evaluation itself, the number of grants awarded, or the planned start of the funded projects.
From results to the support programme
On 23 October 2026, every applicant will receive an individual notification of the outcome. Twelve SMEs and startups, four each from Poland, Latvia and Ukraine, will be selected to receive a €50,000 lump-sum grant covering 100% of project costs. Selected applicants will then be contacted about the contracting phase, during which the sub-grant agreements are signed.
The funded projects will join the 12-month AGRI-BIOCIRCULAR-HUB support programme, starting around December 2026. Alongside the grant, each project receives a dedicated programme adviser, monthly online workshops, expert mentoring, a study visit to a consortium partner facility, and a final pitch event before stakeholders and potential investors.
