AGRI-BIOCIRCULAR-HUB Launches Deep-Tech Entrepreneurship Programme to Empower Innovators in Agri-Food and Bio-Circular Sectors
The AGRI-BIOCIRCULAR-HUB consortium has officially launched its promotion campaign for the Deep-Tech Entrepreneurship Programme titled Ignition Qualifiers. This initiative supports entrepreneurial-minded researchers, scientists, and technology owners in transforming innovative ideas into sustainable business ventures. The programme is organised and led by Commercialization Reactor, one of the key partners of AGRI-BIOCIRCULAR-HUB, and represents an important milestone in strengthening innovation ecosystems in widening countries under the Horizon Europe framework.
The Ignition Qualifiers Programme will begin on 29 October 2025 and will be conducted online. Participation is open to innovators from Ukraine, Latvia, and Poland. The programme is designed for entrepreneurs, startup founders, PhD candidates, and researchers who aim to bring their technologies and solutions closer to the market. It offers mentoring and training focused on eco-design, technology transfer, business development, and investment readiness. Participants will gain practical knowledge from European experts and learn how to turn scientific ideas into viable, scalable solutions that can contribute to a more sustainable agricultural and bio-based economy.
Upon completion, participants will qualify for the Ignition Event, an international platform that connects scientists, innovators, and entrepreneurs interested in co-creating new AgroBioCircular startups. The initiative promotes the integration of research and entrepreneurship in the agri-food and bio-circular sectors, providing participants with hands-on tools, methods, and mentorship to strengthen their innovation capacity. Through collaboration between academic institutions, technology transfer offices, and business representatives, the programme advances the goals of circularity, digitalisation, and sustainability within the European research area.
