Lviv Agrarian Chamber (LAC)

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

The Lviv Agrarian Chamber (LAC) is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation that serves as a key platform for supporting farmers and agribusiness in the Lviv region. It facilitates the development of sustainable agricultural supply chains, fosters rural cooperation, and promotes innovation and digitalisation in agriculture. LAC acts as a regional connector between farmers, local governments, NGOs, and international organisations.

In addition to agricultural development, LAC has played a significant humanitarian role during the wartime crisis, working with partners such as FAO and WFP to deliver food aid, distribute agricultural vouchers, and support community resilience.

ROLE IN THE PROJECT

Within the project, LAC focuses on stakeholder engagement and support for circular bioeconomy practices in rural areas. It works with farmers and cooperatives to promote the adoption of sustainable practices, coordinates with pilot sites, and supports communication efforts targeting agricultural stakeholders. LAC contributes practical insight and experience from the field, enhancing the relevance of pilot solutions to local realities.
