ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

For 15 years Commercialization Reactor (CR) has been established as a startup creation platform and engine, enabling the birth of innovative science-based start-ups. The core philosophy is to focus on the nature of talent and their strongest sides, i.e. bringing Academic Talent (Scientists) to co-create ventures with Entrepreneurial-minded individuals (Entrepreneurs) of various non-technical backgrounds. Cooperating with numerous Universities and Business communities across the globe CR has proven its proprietary method by creating over 140 Deep Tech Startup Teams that are valorizing science of various Universities and Research & Development centers.

ROLE IN THE PROJECT

Commercialization Reactor plays a key role in the AGRI-BIOCIRCULAR-HUB project by leading entrepreneurship and innovation efforts, particularly through coordinating training and startup development (WP4) and managing financial support to SMEs (WP5). With its “Creation-to-Capital” approach and over 15 years of experience, it facilitates deep-tech startup formation, supports commercialization of scientific research, and mentors teams across Latvia and Ukraine. CR also oversees a dedicated entrepreneurship program, startup incubation activities, and contributes to capacity building in emerging innovation ecosystems, notably in Ukraine.
