ROLE IN THE PROJECT
WP4 – Capacity building, open innovation and (deep-tech) entrepreneurship
- T4.1 – Design of capacity-building strategies and programmes for fostering R&I and entrepreneurship.
Activities:
- Define the programmes’ scope and specific objectives, content, methodology and learning outcomes
- Establish a network of supporting stakeholders
- Prepare didactical material in multiple formats, including case studies
- T4.4 – Implementation of an open innovation & challenge-based programme for agrifood & bioeconomy SMEs
Activities:
- Definition and identification of key challenges in the bioeconomy and agrifood sectors
- Innovation scouting and selection of start-ups/SMEs and corporations
- Launch of the call for the selection of startups/SMEs and corporations from Widening countries (at least 10 matching)
- Implementation and delivery of the pilot business cases
WP6 – Financial support to third parties for R&I projects
- T6.1 – Preparation and launch of the call for support of third parties (innovation vouchers) – innovation cases in “smart farming and circular bioeconomy agriculture
Activities:
- Design of the call for cascade funding
- Selection of at least 15 SMEs through assessment of the received application (5 per country; Poland, Latvia and Ukraine)
- Grant 50,000 euros per SME in the area of smart funding and circular bioeconomy agriculture
- Promotion of the call through institutional channels, social media and web
