ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
The Agricultural Advisory Centre (AAC) is a national-level public institution in Poland that supports professional development and innovation in agriculture and rural areas. The Branch Office in Poznań specialises in knowledge transfer, training, and capacity building for agricultural advisors, farmers, local authorities, and rural communities. It plays a critical role in connecting research, policy, and practice in the agri-food and bioeconomy sectors.
Transfer of knowledge and information on:
- economics, farm development planning to increase on-farm income,
- agricultural production systems,
- animal and plant production technology,
- environment/climate protection,
- innovations in agriculture,
- rural development.
The Centre cooperates with agricultural advisory centers, government and local government institutions, industry organizations, scientific and research institutions and other organizations and institutions involved in development of rural areas and agriculture. The aim of the activities carried out is to improve the knowledge and skills of the advisory staff.
AAC organises seminars, study visits, fairs, and competitions that reach thousands of participants annually. It also supports the dissemination of scientific achievements and the practical implementation of EU policies, including sustainable agriculture, CAP reform, climate action, and innovation funding. AAC issues several publications, including the quarterly “Agricultural Advisory Topics” and thematic newsletters.
ROLE IN THE PROJECT
Support to the financial support scheme to third parties, through financial support (4 SMEs in Poland), promotion to potential beneficiaries, evaluation, monitoring and access to mentors. Support to the definition of R&I long-term strategy and access to partners with interregional R&I investment cases. Project dissemination among agricultural advisors, farmers and agri-food/bioeconomy ecosystem in Poland.
